We went in for dinner and drinks. It is a beautiful place with an amazing restaurant, the food was really great. The staff were brilliant, really friendly and helpful. The manager was an absolute star and we enjoyed getting to chat to him whilst we were there. Can't beat a bit of the Irish craic.
We don’t often come to Grantown but when we do we have eaten here and today was even more special as we decided to go for my 40th lunch. From the start till the end it was a lovely meal great food, great service and a lovely restaurant, but even though Gareth was run ragged he still had a smile on his face and was very kind, nice and friendly with us and of course his other staff too. I would definitely recommend here 10/10
Didn't stay at the hotel as we was visiting our mothering law and staying with her as we came up from Manchester We did however book an evening meal for the 3 of us as we usually do when we visit. The food was excellent and the service was spot on . The new menu has less choice and now caters more for families and therfore more reasonably priced . The new manager from Ireland was very engaging. Very funny but professional at the same time. Good luck with your new post you'll smash it
We only go for the bar, however, the staff are always very friendly and chatty. Great service, calm atmosphere, and well priced drinks. Also dog friendly!
Went on a wowcher deal. Good value, nice breakfast, lovely room helpful staff...only negative was "inclusive 2 course meal"...very very limited menu (only 2 items for main course)...soup very disappointing..would be much better to have a dining credit you could add to...inclusive menu a bit low budget... We have stayed here in the past several times before melville hotels took over. Special mention to Jason the manager...Great craic...
One of the nicest meals I have had, at a very affordable price for the two of us. 2 drinks, 2 mains, 1 side and two desserts all for £45. Shame they don't accept tips on the card machine, as I felt they deserved something extra.
The rooms were clean and spotless. No smell. The beds were super comfortable. Went for drinks in the bar and The sweet lady behind the bar Robin was polite and professional with a glowing smile.
Got stuck in Grantown because of snow. The hotel staff were very friendly even though we came in work clothes and snow covered boots. Room was lovely and warm and clean.
